If you're a Sox fan then clearly night #2 of the Gordon Beckham show in Omaha is the most productive use of your remote. Anyone else should tune into "Wipeout," the "Americanized" version of a show that got the author through some lean television nights before "Law & Order" was on 15 times a day.
Not that there's any extra incentive needed to watch people falling down with campy commentary serving as the soundtrack, but a friend of a friend who's familiar with host John Anderson seems to think he's an alright dude. FX is also airing a five-minute minisode of "Rescue Me." If...you're into that kind of thing.
For you kids out there: Denis Leary was the dad in "The Sandlot."
