Chris Kaman, as documented more completely here, is a weird dude. The monolithic Clippers center's latest stop on the road less traveled has him becoming a German citizen and preparing to lace up his sneakers for his new-found nation in this summer's Olympics. Nuts!Kaman attended high school in the author's hometown. A fellow classmate of Kaman's would routinely recount the wild antics of the seven-footer to the author over AOL Instant Messenger until the wee hours of the morning. Now he has to read about them on ESPN.com. Downgrade.
