But to catch you up, the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup last month over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Now those boys from Hockeytown have gone and stolen one of the Penguins best players. Well, if signing him as a free agent counts as stealing.
Marian Hossa, a high scoring right winger per ESPN, will now join an already stacked Red Wing squad next season. Okay, that's the news. Here's why the author cares:
Hossa has one of the all-time great hockey names. HOH-sa! Yell it out loud. It sounds great. Few names combine the guttural power and finesse like this one does. Now imagine Al Pacino saying it. Outstanding.
